Participation Policy

Please read, thoroughly, and understand the Participation Policies (listed below) BEFORE you Register yourself and anyone else so that you, and they, have a clear and thorough understanding of our No Discount Policy, No Spectator Policy, No Break-Out/A-La-Carte Registration Policy, Refund Policy, No Transfer Policy, On-Site Event Check-In Policy, Wristband Policy, No Chair/Table Seat Saving Policy and our Reserved Seating Table Policy. The institution and adherence of these policies has allowed The Vegas Jam to consistently be a year-over-year quality dance weekend event.

To Protect You From Financial Loss

Travel insurance is recommended to protect you from financial loss in the event of your inability to attend and you have to ‘last minute’ cancel.  Vegas Jam has a ‘No Transfer’ Policy and will not issue refunds for trip cancellations due to medical illness, family emergencies, loss of employment, job relocation, death of a loved one, military deployment or any other reason outside of our standard refund policy.

For this reason, we encourage you to purchase affordable trip cancellation insurance from a reputable travel insurance agency.  That travel insurance policy should protect your travel expense (airline ticket, rental car, bus, train, etc.), hotel and event registration fee.

Here is a consideration set of companies that you can investigate and request a quote:

No Discount Registration Policy

We do not offer Senior Citizen discounts, Military discounts or Group discount pricing to the Vegas Jam.

No Spectator Seating Registration Policy

We do not offer Spectator seating pricing.  To clarify, we do not offer an option for any guests that only want to view but not participate in any of the dancing, workshops or events at the Vegas Jam.

No Break-Out/A-La-Carte Registration Pricing Policy

We do not offer Breakout or A-La-Carte pricing. To clarify, we do not offer any nightly dance party only option pricing or dance workshop only option pricing, which is commonly referred to as Breakout or A-La-Carte pricing. The only option to attend the Vegas Jam is our all-event registration pricing.

Refund Policy

The person requesting the refund must request their refund, in writing. Refunds will be issued in the name of the person that has registered within 10 – 14 business days of receipt of their refund request, which may not necessarily be the name of the person that purchased the reservation.

If you request and receive a refund and then change your plans and want to attend, you can indeed register again but at the prevailing registration fee.

The Refund Policy is 100% minus a $30 processing fee until midnight PST June 30, 2017 and 80% minus a $30 processing fee July 1 – midnight PST July 31, 2017.

Beginning August 1, 2017, there are no refunds and we will not issue refunds for trip cancellations due to medical illness, family emergencies, loss of employment, job relocation, death of a loved one, military deployment or any other reason outside of our standard refund policy.

No-Transfer Policy

Once registered, your registration is non-transferable in part or in whole to another person or another calendar year.

On-Site Event Check-In Policy

You, yourself, must Check-In as no one can Check-In for you.  All that is required at Check-In is a piece of government issued, picture ID. Without picture ID you will not be allowed to Check-In and you will be denied admission to the event.  If denied admission, a refund is not possible.

Wristband Policy & Etiquette

There are no paper tickets. At on-site Check-In, your wrist will be affixed with a waterproof, durable wristband that must be worn, on your wrist, for the entire weekend and is your access pass to all events. Wearing of the wristband, on your wrist, for the weekend is mandatory.  If you are uncomfortable with wearing the wristband on your wrist or if you refuse to wear the wristband on your wrist for the weekend, to avoid any confrontation it is best that you do not register to attend.

No Chair/Table Seat Saving Policy & Etiquette

Seating in the dance ballrooms, for the most part, is Open Seating which translates into first come/first served and there is no seat/table saving. There will be Steady Steppers Staff strategically placed in each ballroom to address seat saving issues. However, there are a limited number of Reserved Seating tables.

Reserved Seating Table Policy

There are a limited number of Reserved Seating tables that seat 10 guests to a table. A Reserved Seating table is an additional cost (upcharge) of $150 per table or $15 per person above the guests Registration fee for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday night dance parties only.
